Pregnancy Testing

Am I really pregnant?

If you are sexually active, it’s possible to become pregnant or contract an STD. Here are some common signs of pregnancy, but please be aware that there are other medical conditions that can cause these symptoms.

  • Missed Period
  • Slight Bleeding
  • Swollen/Tender Breasts
  • Fatigue/Tiredness
  • Nausea/Morning Sickness
  • Backaches
  • Headaches
  • Frequent Urination
  • Darkening of Nipples
  • Food Cravings or Food Aversions

If you have been sexually active and are experiencing any of these symptoms, it is important to take an accurate pregnancy test. Make an appointment with Skylark™ for free pregnancy testing. If your test is positive, we offer limited ultrasound to confirm that your pregnancy is viable. Our caring staff is here to provide non-judgmental support and offer you medically accurate information on all your pregnancy options.

Free Pregnancy Testing

It’s important to get an accurate pregnancy test. Skylark™ provides free pregnancy testing. We use medical grade urine pregnancy tests that are:

    • 99% accurate
    • more sensitive than many over-the-counter tests
    • able to detect hCG (the hormone released in pregnancy) as early as 7 days after conception or 21 to 24 days after the first day of your last period

What if I Have a Positive Test?

While getting a reliable pregnancy test is very important, all a positive test does is tell you is that you have a potential pregnancy. Urine and blood pregnancy tests look for the presence or absence of hCG (the hormone released in pregnancy). A pregnancy test cannot tell you whether or not you will have a spontaneous miscarriage or if you have a tubal pregnancy. Skylark™ can provide a free limited ultrasound to confirm that you have a viable pregnancy, determine location of pregnancy, and establish gestational age.
